At Rijstal Le Cheval we have something new! In addition to our regular walking ponies, you can also let your child join one of our guided walking pony rides! With a group of maximum 6 children we make a ride of one and a half hours through the dunes and over the beach. The ride will in principle be done completely at walking pace.

Depending on the size of the group, 1 or 2 of our guides will come along. In addition, you will also come along to help guide the pony.

Your child will learn to experience what it is like to go out with a group of ponies. We teach the children how to steer well behind each other. Ponies are herd animals, and that is why they will also like to walk behind each other! We also teach the children how to sit on the pony and how to handle the pony.

This activity is ideal for children who would like a bit more of a challenge, or for parents who find it a bit scary to go out with a pony alone. Our guides will of course help you and provide explanations where necessary!
