Beach horse ride without experience on Ameland: Beginner courses
Safety is a top priority at Rijstal Le Cheval. That’s why it is only possible to go on a beach horse ride without experience if you do so as part of a course. We explain exactly what this entails below.
Safety certificate from the Equestrian Sports Safety Foundation
We recently received the safety certificate from the Equestrian Sports Safety Foundation. This demonstrates our commitment to safety. The safety certificate ensures, among other things, that our terrain is safe, our riding helmets carry the correct quality mark, our horse equipment is in good order, a first responder is always present, we are properly insured, and that we always work with well-trained staff. Safety and beginner riders: Take a riding course at Rijstal Le Cheval
For beginners as well as experienced riders, we want to offer beach rides in a responsible way. It is very important to us that you at least have the basic skills. This means you can mount and dismount independently, steer, stop, etc.
We teach you these skills during our 4-day courses, where you take a 30-minute private lesson each day for three days, followed by a one-and-a-half-hour beach ride in a walking pace. This ensures that you can enjoy a beach horse ride without experience as safely as possible.
Who is this riding course for?
This course is intended for anyone aged 12 and up who wants to develop their basic skills to confidently and safely go on an outdoor ride. You can take this course with a maximum of 2 people at a time.
When can I join this course?
This course is only offered in the off-season (outside school holidays). Lessons are provided by a certified instructor who is only available a few days per week.
